Oprah Winfrey looked amazing as she attended the third annual Academy Museum Gala at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The hunky television personality, 69, took to Instagram with a photo of herself preparing to head to the event.

“It’s a purple night,” the Kosciusko, Mississippi-born star captioned the photo. “Off to the @academymuseum gala with my @thecolorpurple family.”

The media icon, who celebrates her 70th birthday next month, was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role as Sofia at the 1986 Academy Awards for her work in the film The Color Purple.

The Academy Museum Gala brought together the biggest and brightest stars to honor four showbiz talents.

This year the most famous ones included Meryl Streep, Michael B. Jordan, Oprah Winfrey and Sofia Coppola.

Streep, 74, received the Icon Award in honor of her entire career, which includes a whopping three Oscars.

Receiving the Pillar Award was Oprah, 69, who was recognized for her efforts in support of the Academy Museum.

Coppola, 52, was honored for advancing the art of cinema when Francis Ford Coppola’s daughter received the Visionary Award.

Finally, Jordan, 36, — who made his directorial debut earlier this year with Creed III — received the Vanguard Award, which is given to an emerging artist.

Leading up to the opening, events director and president of the Academy Museum Jacqueline Stewart released a statement saying, “We are thrilled to come together again at our third annual Academy Museum Gala to celebrate the power, global impact and indelible importance of cinema .

“I am truly honored to recognize four artists, Meryl Streep, Michael B. Jordan, Oprah Winfrey and Sofia Coppola, whose creativity and passion have inspired and shaped our culture in such powerful ways.”

Meanwhile, the red carpet was littered with stars such as Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, Billie Eilish, Chrissy Teigen and Demi Moore.

The gala was originally scheduled to take place in October, but was postponed due to the Hamas attack on Israel.
