The speed with which you can recognize the elephant may indicate certain desirable character traits.

Original maker YouTube channel Bright Side revealed that finding the animal indicates a caring personality.

“If you don’t see a village other than an elephant at first glance, you are respectful to others, loyal to your friends and a good listener,” a narrator explains in the video.

“You are loving, caring and thoughtful and that is why so many people love you.”

An earlier American Sun poll showed that a very small percentage of people noticed the village first.

Only 5.7% of respondents saw the elephant first, while 8.1% saw both the village and the elephant at the same time.

The majority of participants only viewed the village: 71.6%.

ILLUSION SOLUTION

The trick to this illusion may be managing your expectations.

Instead of looking for a hyper-realistic animal, keep in mind that the style of the illusion is minimalist, and so will the elephant.

Then notice that there are no clear lines that would create the likeness of the elephant and remember that the negative space, the white area, is the only space where the animal can hide.

The towering creature’s trunk begins on the left side of the image, between the tallest tree and the thinnest hut.

Two birds follow the trunk up, creating the illusion of an eye and the slight outline of where the creature’s floppy ear would begin.

On the ground, the fence posts represent the elephant’s feet and toes, with the elephant’s body outlined by the remaining bird and tree.
