Ozzy Osbourne, 74, makes daughter Kelly cringe as he candidly admits he has no sex drive

Ozzy Osbourne surprised his daughter Kelly when he opened up about how antidepressants affect his “sex drive” on Tuesday’s episode. The Osbournes Podcast.

As the duo chatted with his wife Sharon and son Jack about mental health and taking medication for anxiety and PTSD, the 74-year-old legendary rock star candidly revealed that taking antidepressants instantly kills his sex drive.

“If you take an antidepressant, most of them will take away your sex drive,” he said, prompting Kelly, 39, to grimace.

Kelly interrupted him as she exclaimed, “Oh, fuck.”

She then asked him if this side effect also affected women, or only men.

“I think it’s for both men and women,” replied Jack, 37. “But it’s not guaranteed, it’s just a possible effect.”

However, Ozzy insisted that “it’s guaranteed” based on his personal experience.

“Dad basically says, ‘I took antidepressants and it took away my sex drive,’” Kelly added.

Ozzy noted that “everyone he’s ever taken has just killed him.”

The five-time Grammy winner previously shared that he started taking antidepressants as his mental health deteriorated while battling Parkinson’s disease.

“I reached a plateau that was lower than I wanted,” Ozzy said The observer mental state last year. “Nothing really felt great. Nothing. So I went on these antidepressants, and they work great.’

In 2020, Sharon said she and Ozzy still had sex “a few times a week” on an episode of The conversation.

‘When you are in a relationship, your relationship has highs and lows and depending on where you are in your relationship, you love each other more. Gender changes, that it’s not just about sex. It’s about the intimacy,” Sharon said.

She continued, “It’s about being with the person you love. They love you. It just changes. It changes. That goosebumps you got, turn into something else. It’s a heat. It’s a respect. That’s it, it’s a feeling of love and comfort.’

The Brixton resident, who married Ozzy in 1982, said: So those, you know, butterflies and stuff turn into that comfort. And why should it change when – because you’re a certain age? The point is that someone moves you in a certain way. You love them. You make love. It’s the best thing in the world.’

Kelly interrupted as she exclaimed, “Oh, for God’s sake.”

She then asked him if the side effect also affected women, or only men. Jack, 37, responded that this was a possibility but not a guarantee for either gender.

Sharon argued: ‘And so it’s like saying, “Well, you’re in your sixties, do you still like food? Can you still like ice cream?”‘

In the early days of their marriage, she said that “Ozzy was way oversexed.”

“I mean, it’s not a secret,” she reflected, after revealing he wanted to have sex “three times a day.”

However, nowadays it is becoming less and less. This used to be three times a day, but now it is much less. Let’s say a few times a week, which is normal in a long-term relationship.’
