Paris Hilton is on a mission to breathe new life into pop music – and she’s calling on some big names in the industry to help her succeed.

“I’ve been in the studio [with] Sie executive producer of my full-length album,” Hilton, 42, said on the Tuesday, Dec. 5 episode of the “Call her daddypodcast. “She’ll be here tonight, I love her so much.”

Hilton expressed how “honored” she was to work with 47-year-old Sia, calling the singer “the most brilliant songwriter of our time.” Hilton also shared that she also got to collaborate Meghan Trainor on her album, which will be released in 2024.

“Meghan Trainor wrote so many epic songs for me, the album is so sick,” Hilton said. “[It’s] here to save pop music.”

A not so simple life. Paris Hilton may be an heiress, but she has endured her share of hardships during her years in the public eye. During a February 2023 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the New York native described her public persona — “a dim blonde with a sweet but easy edge” — as her “steel-covered […]

Hilton has not released new solo music since her self-titled debut album, Paris, which came out in 2006. The dance album included ‘Turn It Up’, ‘Nothing in This World’ and her biggest hit, ‘Stars Are Blind’. The album reached number six on the Billboard 200 chart at the time, but Hilton ultimately decided to pursue other passions after its release, including becoming a world-famous DJ.

“When I’m on stage it’s an indescribable feeling,” Paris explained Billboard in October 2020. “The energy and the love I get from the audience is such a magical feeling, and when I stand there I feel like I’m on top of the world.”

The Paris in love star dipped her toe back into the music industry earlier this year. In October, she teamed up with her boyfriend Steve Aoki for a new single titled ‘Lighter’.

“My debut collaboration with friend and legendary DJ Steve Aoki reflects the years of support for each other, and this song is the perfect representation of all the epic times we’ve had,” Hilton said in a statement at the time. “Whether it’s performing in front of thousands of fans at Tomorrowland or bringing the party to the studio, it’s always a party. I can’t wait for the fans to turn up the volume and feel ‘Lighter’ on the dance floor.”

Shortly after Aoki, 46, and Hilton released their song, the reality star confirmed she was making her second album after a nearly two-decade hiatus.

“Yes, I’m recording the new album right now,” she revealed during an October appearance on the US channel Tonight’s show with Jimmy Fallon.
