Peter Stefanovic and Sylvia Jeffreys have bought a new family home.

The couple bought a four-bedroom property in Bronte for $6.35 million, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

The Californian-style bungalow was designed by Nick Bell Architects and described as a 'luxury beach house'.

It has a split-level layout and a private north-facing garden with lots of sun.

The home has retained a 'heritage character' thanks to 'beautiful ornate ceilings' and a 'statement kitchen'.

Located a short walk from the nearby beach, the bungalow features a glass-walled dining room.

The media power couple put their Double Bay terrace on the market for $4.5 million in July last year.

It was clear that the journalists wanted a larger house with room for their family, including their two young sons.

The new two-storey luxury home in the cosmopolitan eastern suburbs cost the couple $2.7 million in 2016.

Since then, they had made a number of renovations, including parking for two cars and outdoor entertainment space in the rear courtyard.

Marketed by Gavin Rubinstein of Ray White Double Bay, he described the property as spacious, with 'seamless continuous living spaces' with open plan living.

The couple married on April 1, 2017 at the Ooralba Estate in Kangaroo Valley.

In 2020Sylvia, 37, and Peter, 42, welcomed their first son, Oscar, now three, in February.

Just eight months later, the TV presenter revealed she was pregnant with her second child, a son, Henry, now two.
