An airline passenger is sparking a heated debate over etiquette after sharing a video of herself fighting a CHILD to keep the shared window shades open… so who do you think was right?

A woman has caused a stir after leaving an obnoxious passenger in the seat – who turned out to be a child – on their daytime flight.

The content creator, Umaymah, who lives in Dubai, posted the 8-second clip on TikTok, showing her controversial response.

But as she sits there, a small hand reaches back from behind the front seat and deftly closes the blinds – despite it being the window closest to her seat.

From there, a game of tug-of-war was secured in front of the windows, with the young boy reaching back again to close the blinds, only for Umaymah to stop him by putting her hand in the way to stop him.

“It’s my window,” she indignantly captioned the video.

“He had HIS OWN WINDOW,” she added.

Users were divided over her reaction to the child closing the blinds. Some agreed that she had jurisdiction over the window, while others thought she should be more lenient because her seatmate was just a child.

“When I sit next to a window, I want to look out the window,” one TikTok user commented. “Who closes the window on a daytime flight?”

“What if they’re trying to sleep,” another asked.

She said: ‘They expect everyone to be subjected to their music or what they watch.

Despite these problems, Natalie loves her job and believes that not all passengers are bad, and that even a simple thank you can make her day.

She said: “Honestly, when people say ‘thank you’ when they get off the plane [it is really great].
