PORTO keeper Diogo Costa hinted he was aware of Arsenal's “weaknesses” before their Champions League victory.

The Portuguese side recorded a dramatic 1-0 win over the Gunners in the first leg of their last 16 tie on Wednesday night when Galeno scored a 94th-minute winner.

The defeat will come as a shock to Mikel Arteta's men, who went into the match on a five-match winning streak.

But the result will come as no surprise to Porto stopper Costa, 24, who mysteriously spoke about Arsenal's “weaknesses” in the build-up to the match.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the goalkeeper said: “We are prepared for anything Arsenal can do, both attacking and defending.

“Everyone has their weaknesses, they have not played against FC Porto yet and will certainly have their difficulties.

“They are a very attacking team with some weaknesses that we will take full advantage of and we will do everything we can to come out with the win.

“They have weaknesses, of course I'm not going to say what they are, but I guarantee we will do our best to win.

“If they are favorites, they have to show it.”

Costa did not concede a single shot on target to Arsenal on Tuesday evening.
