SHOPPERS think they have found a “glitch” at the checkout, with a £16 beauty gadget being scanned for just £7 at the till.

One savvy Primark shopper who managed to secure the deal shared her purchase with the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group.

She posted a photo of the Angled Hair Curler and wrote: “Don't run and walk to Primark today to get yours.

“I saw this on this site yesterday, bought it and it's amazing – so quick and easy.”

The Facebook after received 93 likes and more than 113 comments.

Another customer then revealed that the item still scans lower even if it doesn't have any discounted stickers on it.

She wrote: “Thanks to the lady who posted earlier.

“Loads in Primark Oldham store and nothing discounted except scanning for £7 at checkout. Worth asking if there's no sticker on it.”

Fellow deal-finding professionals praised the enormous reduction.

One said: “Best curling iron I've used! And I've tried a few!”

Another wrote: “This is such a good curling iron. I bought one for my daughter ages ago and I use it all the time.

“My hair falls with most curlers, but this one stays in place very well.”

But a third commented: “Be warned this gets very hot and my ghd mat has melted!”

The Sun has contacted Primark for comment.

Shoppers also rushed to buy a “beautiful” 12-piece dining set for £6.
