Princess Eugenie smiled broadly in a chic black and white ensemble as she arrived at Westminster Abbey this evening.

The royal, 33, appeared to have arrived at the event alone, without her husband Jack or children August and Ernest.

Eugenie’s black coat reached the knee and had a festive touch, made from a glittery fabric.

She paired the garment with a pair of knee-high black boots and black tights.

Meanwhile, she completed the outfit with a small handbag, in a festive burgundy color.

The service will recognize the selfless efforts of communities across the UK and highlight the importance of coming together to support each other.

Led by Kate, it will combine both traditional and modern elements.

Her goal is to reach people of all religions and none.

The service, Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, will be filmed this evening.

It will then air on ITV on Christmas Eve.

The service will see the world-famous Westminster Abbey choir perform some of the country’s best-loved Christmas carols, alongside musical performances from guests including Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings and James Bay, and a special duet from Beverley Knight and Adam Lambert.

There will be moving talks from speakers including Prince William, Michael Ward, Emma Willis, Roman Kemp and Jim Broadbent.

It’s been a busy week for Eugenie, who was supported by her sister Eugenie last week as Beatrice hosted her first anti-slavery charity’s first Winter Gala.

The Anti-Slavery Collective was founded in 2017 by Princess Eugenie and her good friend Julia de Boinville.

Through the charity, the pair have worked across various sectors to end modern slavery and also launched their podcast Floodlight, where they interview guests about the best way to end the practice around the world.

In support of Eugenie’s admirable pursuit, Sarah Ferguson was also in attendance, along with a number of famous faces.

Singer Ed Sheeran was among the guests at the glitzy event, as was James Blunt – and even Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas made an appearance.

Eugenie’s cousin, Zara Tindall, and former British Prime Minister Theresa May (who guested in series two of Floodlight) were also among the guests.
