VLADIMIR Putin’s best friend Dmitry Medvedev gave a chilling speech that included a map of what Ukraine would look like if Russia absorbed its territory.

The eerie photo showed a vast blood-red Russia engulfing a stunted Ukraine without a coastline, the Donbas or Crimea.

The land of Ukraine had been divided and given to Poland, Romania and Hungary, leaving it landlocked and a fraction of its original size.

Medvedev has promised that before Russia will do everything in its power to ensure that its enemies “disappear from the face of the earth forever”.

And today he doubled down, echoing Putin’s declaration that “the Russian border ends nowhere.”

Putin’s mouthpiece Medvedev said: “One of the former leaders of Ukraine said at one point that Ukraine is not Russia.

“That concept must disappear – forever.

“Ukraine is definitely Russia.”

And added in a misguided rant that Russia would never give up what is ‘theirs’.

He raged against the West, calling them the “aggressor”, despite his dictator boss Putin, 71, who started the brutal war in Ukraine two years ago.

Deputy head of Russia’s Security Council, Medvedev – formerly Prime Minister of the Kremlin, said: “We don’t need land from another state – but we would never give up what is ours.”

While ranting about Russian history, he raged: “The history of our state has proven this several times.

“I want to recall one fact.

“It will soon be 210 years since Paris was captured by Russian troops.

“That time we cleaned up Europe, changed the authorities to those that suited us – and then we went back home with our flags up.”

He also failed to admit to the horrific rapes of Ukrainian women and children by his invading forces during the war, which are currently being investigated as war crimes.

In his twisted analysis he said: “The best that awaits them [Ukrainian citizens] is to be slaves in a decrepit European [prison].

“To play at court the role of a deaf and mute servant who is raped every day in a European kitchen by a foreign overlord.

“Or worse, who becomes replaceable, which is unfortunately happening now.”

He told an audience at the World Youth Festival in Sochi that Ukraine is a “failed state.”

And while praising Putin, he continued: “Our president gave an accurate and laconic quote about our borders.

“[Putin said]: The Russian border ends nowhere.

“These were very good words.”

Putin increasingly uses Medvedev as a mouthpiece to broadcast his abhorrent views to the world.

A day earlier, Medvedev claimed that Germany was “preparing for a war with Russia.”

He labeled German leader Olaf Scholz as a weakling who could be overruled by his army.

It came after Putin’s propaganda TV channels broadcast a German air force chief discussing British troops “on the ground” in Ukraine after his private telephone conversation was allegedly intercepted by Russia this weekend.

Russia took the opportunity to rant NATO allies preparing for conflict after the leak – something Putin has previously warned could trigger World War III.
