Queen Máxima cut a stylish figure during her official visit to Colombia on behalf of the United Nations.

The royal, 52, arrived in Medellin yesterday to promote financial inclusion and innovation as part of her role as special adviser to the UN.

The royal, ever the style star, looked typically chic in monochrome colors, wearing an all-black pantsuit with just a hint of nude.

She wore an oversized blazer with a stylish box shape on the shoulders, along with matching high-waisted cropped pants.

Under the jacket, she wore a black crew-neck shirt and rounded out her efforts with a pair of flowy black and brown pumps, which she paired with a patchwork bag with the same color theme.

To indicate the seriousness of the engagement, the royal family dialed back the glamor and opted for very subtle makeup, accentuated only by a thick line of black eyeliner.

Her blonde locks were tied down while her bangs were swept up and away from her face as she opted to forego facial jewelry.

The monarch appeared cheerful as she walked through the event and greeted the various guests in attendance.

The news comes as her husband, King Willem-Alexander, 56, gave a glimpse into his private study, where he displays a moving portrait of his wife and three daughters.

The King of the Netherlands welcomed politician Alexander van Hattem to Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague on Friday, February 23, as part of his efforts to meet chairmen of the factions in the country’s Senate.

After the meeting, the royal family’s Instagram account shared an official portrait of the meeting, showing the two men on either side of the fireplace in the king’s private study.

The royal father of three is seen standing next to a framed photo of his wife Queen Maxima, 52, and their daughters Princess Catharina-Amalia, 20, Princess Alexia, 18, and Princess Ariane, 16.

In the undated image, Maxima and her daughters all wore white blouses and posed against a gray background.

Queen Maxima was flanked by her two youngest daughters, while Princess Catharina-Amalia placed a hand on Princess Alexia’s shoulder.

The four royal women all wore their long hair down for the photo shoot and Maxima opted for minimal makeup.

The royal family endorsed the image of King Willem-Alexander’s meeting: ‘The king receives the chairman of the Senate faction of the PVV, Alexander van Hattem, at Huis ten Bosch Palace as an introduction.

‘This conversation concludes the series of receptions of faction leaders in the Senate. In recent months they have been received for a (renewed) introduction to the King. The new Senate was installed on June 13, 2023.’
