RHOP’s Gizelle Bryant and Jason Cameron are still going strong

The Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant gave Us some insight into her romance with a fellow Bravo personality Jason Cameron.

“I’m very happy that Jason understands me a little and gets my life. I understand his life clearly,” the 53-year-old Bryant says exclusively We weekly while we watch season 8 of RHOP. “He has been a breath of fresh air and someone I can tell anything to, and I know it will stick with him.”

While Bryant shares that things are going well between her and the Winter house alum, 37, has spent the past year explaining that she doesn’t “feel the need” to title their romance yet.

“I just appreciate the time we have and the time we spend together,” she clarifies Us. “We have so much fun when we’re together, I’m just happy with what we do.”

Bryant adds that one of the reasons their relationship works is because they “don’t put any pressure on it.”

“We don’t allow other people to force us to put pressure on it. And we are there for each other,” she says. “And my father recently passed away. He understands [that]. His mother passed away a while ago, so he has now been able to see me for who I am, and I appreciate that.

Bryant, who shares daughter Grace, 18, and twins Adore and Angel, both 17, with ex-husband Jamal Bryantadds that her daughters love Cameron – even though they were “insecure” at first.

“So when he visited me one of the first times, they said, ‘Well, we have questions,’” ​​she explains. “And so they asked him a million questions and he passed the test.”

While Cameron will make some appearances in the next season RHOP, Bryant has no interest in ever appearing on the series Winter house. (Cameron was a full-time cast member in seasons 1 and 2 of the series Summer house spinoff and a “Friend” for Season 3, currently airing.)

“I do not understand. When he FaceTimed me, it was like that [Tom] Schwartz in bed with chips everywhere, and it was just kind of disgusting,” says Bryant. “It’s definitely not my scene, but if he invited me, I would go for him.”

Bryant was previously married to 52-year-old Jamal from 2002 to 2009. Although they rekindled things in 2019, they called it quits for good in June 2021.

“Listen, we were victims of the pandemic,” she said E! News in July 2021. “I don’t think a long-distance relationship can really tolerate not seeing each other. But is he still in my life, is he still one of my best friends? Absolute.”
