Robbie Williams made an embarrassing blunder during his Melbourne concert at AAMI Park on Wednesday night.
The 49-year-old pop star was singing his hit Rock DJ when he asked the jubilant crowd: “Sydney, do you rock harder than Melbourne?”
The crowd remained awkwardly silent as Williams realized what he had said and quickly corrected himself.
‘Melbourne, do you rock harder than Sydney?’ he then shouted to the packed audience.
His question drew a roaring “yes” from the crowd as Williams began singing his signature tune to his fans.

Williams is performing his XXV world tour in front of large audiences across Australia, celebrating his 25 years as a solo artist.
It comes after Williams was treated to a stare during a performance on the Gold Coast on Saturday night when two sisters flashed their breasts at him as he sang in front of 13,000 fans.
And now siblings Carlie and Brooke Mills have broken their silence about the brutal act.
The 49-year-old pop star was singing his hit Rock DJ when he asked the enthusiastic crowd: “Sydney, do you rock harder than Melbourne?”
“He said the 90s concerts were very different. So I stood on my sister’s shoulders, he came over and pointed and I gave him a flash,” Carlie told the newspaper Courier mail.
“So I gave it some 90s vibes back. I also shouted, “Let me entertain you.” He looked at me with a ‘you can do better than that’ look, so I lifted the bra, shook it – full flash.”
The superstar was seen with a cheeky grin on his face after the incident and openly thanked the sisters for the show.
‘Melbourne, do you rock harder than Sydney?’ he then shouted to the packed audience. His question drew a loud yes from the crowd as Williams began singing his signature tune to his fans
“I’d like to give my own round of applause to the two lovely ladies who had their breasts out tonight,” Williams told the crowd.
Williams rose to fame in the early 1990s as a member of the popular English boy band Take That.
He left the group in 1995 to pursue his solo career and rejoined them from 2010 to 2014, before leaving again to focus on his solo career.
