After a decade of presenting for the channel, the 31-year-old radio presenter revealed his last show will be on March 28 as he delivered an emotional speech.

When talking about how much Capital has meant to him, Roman seemed overcome with emotion as he admitted that this wasn't a decision he ever expected.

He explained, “I have a little announcement, and it's really weird to say it out loud. Really strange. If I'm being completely honest, I have no idea how to start this.

“I'm just going to come out and say it. This will be my last kind of six weeks with capital, which is weird to say.

'It will happen and that farewell will come in five to six weeks. It's not a decision made overnight either, it's huge, I haven't found it easy at all.'

Roman lost his best friend and global radio producer Joe Lyons to suicide in August 2020, and the star alluded to the tragedy while referring to both his “best times” and “absolute lowest times.”
