VLADIMIR Putin launched another night of terror against Ukraine as he unleashed 90 missiles and 60 drones in one of the biggest blitzes of the war so far.

Dramatic footage shows fires engulfing Dnipro power plant and dam as Russian tyrant, 71, turns brutal focused civil infrastructure in several cities.

The Ukrainian president is reeling from the deadly overnight attack Volodymyr Zelensky said: “There were more than 60 of them [Iranian-made] ‘Shaheds’ and almost 90 missiles of different types in one night.

“The world sees the targets of Russian terrorists as clearly as possible: power plants and energy supply lines, a hydroelectric dam, ordinary residential buildings, even a trolleybus.”

The number of dead and injured was not immediately clear.

The Dnipro power plant, Ukraine’s largest hydroelectric power plant, burned overnight as images showed the mangled and still-burning wreckage of the trolleybus.

The dam, part of the hydroelectric power station, managed to survive the attack, but terrifying photos show it burst into flames at dawn, causing serious damage to the structure.

“The fire in the station continues,” said the energy company Ukrhydroenergo.

“Emergency services and energy workers are on the ground working to overcome the impact of numerous air strikes. There is no threat of a breakthrough [of the dam].

“The situation at the station dam is under control.”

Ukraine claimed to have downed 92 of about 150 incoming drones and missiles.

The Russians used seven Kinzhal – or “Dagger” – hypersonic missiles and twelve Iskander-M ballistic missiles.

Petro Andryushenko, adviser to the exiled Ukrainian mayor of Mariupol, described the attacks as “real terrorism.”

The Zaporizhia nuclear power plant has been cut off from electricity by the bombing, Ukraine’s Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said.

“This is the biggest attack on Ukraine’s energy sector in recent times,” he added.

In addition, Kharkiv was hit by power and water outages during some of the heaviest bombings of the war by Putin’s strategic air bombers.

The Kharkiv Transport Engineering Plant, which produces and repairs tanks, was hit by at least 15 other explosions in the city.

It appeared to be the biggest attack of the war against Ukraine’s energy facilities, as the internet went out and domestic and industrial electricity supplies were hit.

President Zelensky expressed bitterness over the slow pace of Western ammunition deliveries to Ukraine.

“Russian missiles do not experience delays, like the aid packages to our state,” he said, adding that it was clear there was no “indecision” over the delivery of Iranian drones to Russia.

“It is important to understand the price of delays and postponed decisions,” Zelensky added.

For the second day in a row, NATO war planes in Poland were scrambled due to “the activity of Russian long-distance aviation.”

At least thirteen Tu-95MS aircraft – part of Putin’s nuclear warhead fleet – launched cruise missiles at Ukraine.

In Kiev, thousands were forced to spend the long night in underground shelters.

There were twelve rocket attacks in Zaporizhia. Seven houses were destroyed, 35 were damaged and the number of victims is being determined.

Explosions were recorded in Kanatovo, near Kirovograd, a reserve air base of the Ukrainian Air Force, as well as in Kremenchuk, Burshtyn, Khmelnitsky Odesa, Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia.

In Dnipro, electricity and water supplies were affected, as well as the internet.

A large local hydroelectric power plant was completely out of service in Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia region.

The pro-Kremlin Russian Telegram channel War Gonzo labeled the brutal attacks as “judgment night and morning.”

Earlier this week, Putin had vowed to take revenge for what he saw as Ukrainian attacks on civilians in Russia’s Belgorod region.

He said: “We can respond in kind.

“[We can hit] civilian infrastructure and all other similar objects that the enemy attacks.”

The new missile and drone blitz came just a day after Putin attacked Kiev with his fearsome new hypersonic speed of 15,000 km per hour.Dagger missiles, just hours before NATO chiefs were due to visit.

Russia fired 31 ballistic and cruise missiles before dawn on Thursday, marking their attack on the capital in six weeks.

The attack took place hours after the president’s visit to Kiev Joe Biden’s top foreign policy adviser Jake Sullivan and other European diplomats.

On Wednesday, Russian ballistic missiles killed five people and wounded nine in the eastern Kharkiv region, while attacks on southern Odesa killed 21 people last week.

However, Russia was humiliated even further when anti-Putin partisans ambushed soldiers before taking out elite Spetsnaz commandos with drones on Thursday.

Meanwhile, one of Putin’s key allies claimed it would “take just two minutes to bomb Paris” in an aggressive warning to France.

The Vice President of the State Duma, Pyotr Tolstoy, raised the possibility of sending an atomic bomb Paris as French troops end up in Ukraine.
