Ryan Gosling and Barbie composers Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt have released Ken The EP.

The new project features the original song I’m Just Ken, plus three new iterations, including I’m Just Ken (Merry Kristmas Barbie), I’m Just Ken (In My Feelings Acoustic) and I’m Just Ken (Purple Discomachine remix).

The 43-year-old actor – who recently helped a fan – also appears in an intimate performance video alongside Ronson and Wyatt.

Over the summer, I’m Just Ken enjoyed commercial success, reaching the top five of the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart.

It also racked up over 100 million global streams.

Meanwhile, Barbie The Album has been nominated for no fewer than 11 2024 Grammy Awards.

And I’m Just Ken has received Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations.

Ronson presented it The Hollywood Reporter in November: ‘It was never in the script [that] Ryan started singing.

“It was like, ‘If we want Barbie’s perfect day song, we need a song from Ken’s point of view.’

Ronson and Wyatt were also not supposed to take the musical reins for the entire film’s soundtrack.

Initially they signed for only two songs: Dance the Night and a song for Ken.
