Saltburn star Barry Keoghan CONFIRMS she has split from long-term girlfriend and ‘incredible mother’ Alyson Kierans – 15 months after welcoming son Brando

Barry Keoghan appears to have confirmed his split from long-time girlfriend Alyson Kierans.

The Irish actor, 31, is said to have split from Alyson last summer following the birth of their 15-month-old son Brando.

In an interview with GQ magazineBarry was asked about reports that the couple had gone their separate ways.

He said: ‘She’s done a great job and she’s a great mother.’ The publication noted that he provided no further information about the split.

The Saltburn star discussed fatherhood in the interview, saying he feels a “huge amount of pressure” to be a good dad.

He added: “I can’t get the little boy out of my mind. It is beautiful. You know, it’s crazy, but when he looks at you, you feel like the most important person in the world.

‘That’s the effect he has on me. He smiles at you and you say, “Wow, are you smiling at me like that? I don’t deserve that, but thanks anyway.”

When reports of the split first emerged, it was said that the couple were ‘determined to do what was best for their son’ after deciding to split following arguments over late night partying.

A source said The sun: ‘They have been growing apart over the past few months and things have finally come to a head. As far as she’s concerned, it’s over.’

Irish actor Barry, who won a BAFTA for his supporting role in The Banshees of Inisherin, met dentist Alyson in a London bar in February 2021.

The couple made their red carpet debut in October that year and they put on a much-loved show as they packed on the PDA as they posed for snaps together.

They then confirmed they were expecting their first child together in June 2022 and welcomed their son Brando just two months later in August.

Meanwhile, Barry has since been linked to singer Sabrina Carpenter following his split from Alyson.

Barry and American singer Sabrina were first linked last month when they went out for dinner in Los Angeles.

A source said The sun: “Barry thought it was best for Alyson to be the first to hear about him and Sabrina so she wouldn’t be hurt if she found out on social media.

‘He spends a lot of time in the United States and has invited Sabrina as his ‘plus one’ to the Golden Globes.

“Alyson and Barry continue to communicate for Brando’s sake and he has been open about his new relationship.”

Sabrina was last linked to singer Shawn Mendes, 25, but he denied there was anything romantic between them before she was pictured having dinner with Barry in Brentwood, Los Angeles, before Christmas.

They first became romantically involved in February when they were spotted out for a walk and the following month they attended Miley Cyrus’ album release party and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party together.

That same month, a source told ET, “Shawn and Sabrina are seeing each other. They’ve been hanging out a lot and trying to keep things quiet.”

The source continued, “They were at a birthday party together a few weeks ago and were adorable together. Shawn is happy.”
