But a handy code can reveal a behind-the-scenes menu that Samsung owners can use to test their hardware and check if it's faulty.

This way, Samsung owners know exactly what to tell the repair shop.

The hidden code revealed by TikToker @Tech_Overwatch is: *#0*#.

Typing this code into the call maker will automatically bring up a new menu for Samsung owners to use, as shown in the video.

“I really like this particular code because you can actually use it to test the hardware parts of your phone to make sure they work or not,” the TikToker explained.

“This phone has two speakers, so when I click on speaker one it plays the sound from speaker one to make sure speaker one is still working.

“And when I click on speaker two, it plays the same sound on that speaker to make sure that speaker still works.

“If you're not sure if your earpiece is still working or not, you can tap the receiver and hear the sound it makes to tell you if your receiver or earpiece is still working.

Samsung's secret battery code

According to another TikTok tech expert, there is also a secret code that Samsung owners can enter on their smartphones, which will instantly charge the battery.

Prince Tech Official on TikTok revealed the code, which he claims can “save” the battery life of a Samsung device in seconds.

The 'magic' code that describes Prince Tech is this: *#9900#.

It is used to recalibrate your Android's battery – which is essential for keeping your phone's battery healthy and should be done every few months.

Prolonged use of a device can cause the battery to deteriorate, resulting in reduced capacity compared to when it was new.

However, Android does not take this degradation into account, leading to inaccurate battery level measurements on your device.

If the actual battery capacity does not match the percentage shown on your device, it could cause your phone to drain prematurely.

But calibrating the battery via the Batterystats Reset button can force the Android operating system to take this degradation into account and correct the displayed battery percentage.

We explain here how to recalibrate your Samsung battery.
