Sarah ferguson was all smiles this morning as she joined prince andrew at the memorial service for the late King Constantine of Greece bee Windsor castle.

The Duchess of York, 64, still affectionately known to most as Fergie, was pictured arriving alongside her ex-husband, who she lives with at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park in Berkshire.

The mother-of-two wore a black fascinator and a gray outfit, donned a pair of elegant earrings and opted for a touch of glamorous make-up.

They joined Queen Camilla and other members of the royal family, including Princess Anne and Zara Tindall, on the somber occasion. However, the Prince of Wales has withdrawn from a lecture in honor of his godfather ‘for personal reasons’.

The service marks the Duchess’s most high-profile royal event in decades – with the mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie rarely invited to royal family functions following her high-profile divorce from Andrew in 1996.

It is understood that the Duke of York attended the service as a member of the British Royal Family and was invited by the Greek Royal Family, and as such today’s appearance was not an official royal engagement.

In December, the Duke and Duchess of York walked behind seniors as crowds lined the road outside St Mary Magdalene Church for the traditional Christmas Day service at the Norfolk estate.

It was the first time in 32 years that Fergie had joined the royals for the walk, after Prince Philip banned him from attending.

But King Charles softened his approach to Prince Andrew’s ex-wife last year.

Sarah was driven to the memorial service today by Andrew, 64, who looked dapper in a black suit paired with a burgundy tie.

Elsewhere, Prince William pulled out at the last minute due to “personal reasons.”

Kensington Palace would not comment further, but said the Princess of Wales, who is recovering from abdominal surgery, is still doing well.

William called the Greek royal family who attended the service at St George’s Chapel to let them know he was unable to attend.

Kate is away from official royal engagements until after Easter following major surgery in January.

The king, who was close to his great-nephew, the former Greek monarch, will also miss the service as he continues treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer.

Constantine II of Greece was a cousin and sailing partner of the late Duke of Edinburgh, and died in January last year at the age of 82, decades after being overthrown in a military coup.

His funeral was attended by Princess Anne, the late monarch’s great-nephew, and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.

He became king of Greece in 1964, but was ousted from the throne when the monarchy was abolished in 1973.

Charles was unable to attend Constantine’s funeral in Athens last year due to commitments, including a meeting with the president of Cyprus.

Camilla and other family members were joined by the late king’s widow, Queen Anne-Marie, their eldest son, Crown Prince Pavlos and other members of the Greek royal family for today’s service in the nave of the 15th-century chapel.
