Selena Gomez throws pajama birthday party for BFF Nicola Peltz, while singer friend Benny Blanco also helps by making 'the best food'

Selena Gomez hosted a pajama party for her BFF Nicola Peltz's 29th birthday and her boyfriend Benny Blanco also assisted by making “the best food” for the festivities.

The former Disney Channel actress, 31 — who recently wowed at the “fun” Rare Beauty event — appeared in an assortment of light-hearted snaps and clips shared by Peltz to her main Instagram account.

The Holidate star – who is currently married to Brooklyn Beckham – uploaded a photo series that captured special moments from the party.

In the caption she wrote: 'I am so grateful for all the beautiful and kind people in my life. all my best friends surprised me for my birthday with a pajama night and we played games (my goodness!).'

'I just want to thank you all so much for making me feel so loved. I love you guys so much and thank you Benny for making the best food ever, and you and Sel for hosting,” Nicola concluded sweetly.

In one photo, the beauty was seen striking a cute pose with Gomez and her younger sister Gracie.

The trio wore matching pajamas as they stood in what appeared to be a spacious kitchen.

Another image showed Peltz holding pink balloons as she stood outside, and also balancing several gifts in her left arm.

Selena's sibling was also in the photo and she could be seen holding her fingers up to flash a peace sign at the camera.

The actress also included a group photo of everyone in attendance, and her husband Brooklyn was seen right up front, with Benny Blanco on one side holding up a peace sign.

The Only Murders In The Building star was also seen standing close to Beckham as she pursed her lips as she quickly posed.

Nicola and a few other close friends gathered for a photo as they all showed off matching pajamas for the memorable festivities.

She also gave her fans and followers a glimpse of the birthday cake with an image of herself on it, lined with tasty, sugary frosting.

Nicola also had a lot of fun taking a selfie with Gracie, who put a big smile on her face.

Finally, the star added a photo showing two holders that are almost shaped like a heart.

She later took to her Instagram stories to upload a short film as guests sang “Happy Birthday.”

Her husband, Brooklyn, stood next to her in the clip as Selena took it upon herself to light the candles on the cake.

Peltz also added the text in pink letters, “i love you guys so much” and “omg i'm so uncomfortable” at the bottom.

Although it is not known exactly when the birthday party was held, Nicola officially turned 29 earlier this week, on January 9.

She also posted another video to her stories, which was recorded on a separate evening while she enjoyed an intimate birthday dinner with some friends.

The star was filmed blowing out candles on a cake and was stylishly displayed in a fluffy coat, while her locks were pulled into a chic ponytail.

The birthday post comes shortly after Selena took a short break from social media following the viral Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner Golden Globes drama.

On Tuesday, she hopped to her Instagram stories and wrote to her fans, “I've been off social media for a while. I focus on what really matters.'

However, she returned after a hiatus of only 24 hours to promote a cooking video with Gordon Ramsay.

The singer and actress previously tried to quell speculation that she was gossiping about Chalamet and Jenner with her boyfriend Taylor Swift.

She wrote on social media: 'Nooooo, I told Taylor about two of my friends hooking up. Not that that's anyone's business.'

The Single Soon hitmaker has been busy during awards season and recently showed off her chic sense of style at the AFI Awards Luncheon at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills on Friday.

She wore a black striped top with a belt around her waist and matching pants.

Gomez paired the ensemble with a pinstriped blazer, which she unbuttoned, and wore a pair of black closed-toe heels for a finishing touch.

The Rare Beauty founder crossed paths with her Only Murders In The Building with Steve Martin, Martin Short and also Meryl Streep at the glitzy event.

Nicola has also reached a milestone by making her directorial debut with the upcoming drama titled Lola, which will be released next month on February 9.

She also played the lead role and wrote the screenplay for the project, which took almost six years to complete.
