Sharon Osbourne’s drastic diet slimming: The Talk star looks incredibly thin

Sharon Osbourne looked incredibly slim as she stepped out in West Hollywood on Tuesday, more than a month after revealing she’d lost 30 pounds with controversial weight-loss shots.

The Talk star, 70, was spotted shopping at a local gallery.

She wrapped her slender figure in a chic white sweater, billowy black pants and sunglasses that concealed her eyes.

Ozzy Osbourne’s wife rocked a fresh lick of lipstick, a flawless coat of red nail polish and a head full of her usual red hair.

Sharon revealed last month that she’d lost 30 pounds over the course of her fourth month after using the injections, but admitted to feeling nauseated every day and insisted it wasn’t a “quick fix.”

During a discussion about the controversial injections on The Talk, Sharon shared her first-hand experience with the drugs, after it was announced that WeGovy’s UK launch had been paused.

“It’s a mental problem. It really is, apart from, you know, when kids grow up in a household where they live on chips and pie,” she said.

“But I took (the shot.) I took it for four months and I lost 30 pounds, but as with anything, there’s always no quick prescription.

“I was very ill for a few months. For the first few months I just felt sick. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever.

“But listen, I took it for four months, I lost 30 pounds.” I just popped two chips in my mouth while we were on break, and I’m eating normally now, and I haven’t put on a pound. Nothing.’

The weight-loss drug wasn’t the only drastic solution Sharon used to lose weight.

In 1999, she underwent gastric bypass surgery to lose significant weight.

However, she later admitted to regretting the procedure, and in 2014 told Entertainment Tonight that she felt like a “cheat” for using medical surgery to help her lose weight, instead of doing everything to do through diet and more exercise.

Also called a hip belt, the procedures involve placing an inflatable band in a ring around the upper part of the stomach. The restrictive band effectively reduces the size of the stomach, preventing the patient from eating large meals, and it has the advantage that the stomach does not shrink or divide permanently as happens with more invasive procedures.

It certainly helped her lose weight – an amazing 100 pounds – but the side effects weren’t worth it as far as Sharon is concerned.

“It makes you throw up all the time. Nothing goes down because it goes out,” she complained to ET.

She finally had the band removed in 2006, after which she refocused on traditional diet and exercise to maintain a slimmer figure.

For a time, she relied on the low-carb Atkins diet to stay slim, though she admitted she indulged in the occasional indulgence.

“I’d be lying if I said I don’t cheat because I cheat. I cheat a lot with my diet,” she admitted. “We all do, but I don’t feel guilty because the next day I start with my Atkins breakfast sandwich and I’ll be right back to it.”

The diet helped Osbourne lose nearly 30 pounds in three months, and her son Jack and daughter Kelly have also used the diet to lose weight.

Sharon isn’t the only celebrity associated with the controversial weight-loss pills.

Famous users include Elon Musk, who credited Wegovy for his body transformation on Twitter. Kim Kardashian is also rumored to have used the injections.

Meanwhile, Kyle Richards was recently forced to deny using Ozempic amid photos of her looking very thin.

After showing off her toned physique in a shared bikini photo earlier this year, internet trolls accused the reality star of using Ozempic, a type 2 diabetes treatment used off-label as a weight-loss tool.

In the comments section of a Page Six Instagram post that linked to a story about her ripped figure, Kathy Hilton’s younger sister responded to a user who wrote, “I think it’s a lot of visits to the plastic surgeon.”

“I’ve never tried Ozempic and this isn’t from plastic surgery,” Richards replied.

Amy Schumer also admitted to taking Ozempic during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

The star revealed that she took the medication “like a year ago” and while she saw immediate results, semaglutude was not “viable” as a weight loss option.

She said, “I was one of those people who felt so sick and couldn’t play with my son.

“I was so skinny, and he throws a ball at me, and [I couldn’t].’

Even Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi has used Ozempic.

Wegovy and its sister drug Ozempic, both of which use the active drug semaglutide, work by replicating hormones that tell the brain it’s full.

These hormones are meant to make a person feel full and reduce cravings.

It also slows stomach emptying and increases the amount of insulin secreted by the pancreas.

Ozempic, the first formulation of the drug manufactured by Novo Nordisk, was originally designed to help diabetics manage their condition.

However, those taking the drug also experienced significant weight loss.

This led the Danish company to reformulate the drug into Wegovy, which is approved for weight loss.
