Sharon Stone, 65, wants Margot Robbie, 33, to play her in a movie after her heartbreaking memoir details a rough ride in Hollywood: ‘I adore her’
Sharon Stone is already eyeing an actress to play her in a movie about her life.
The film icon went from a smart and bullied student in Pennsylvania to a great movie star thanks to Basic Instinct and then from a stroke victim to survivor and now painter, she describes in her telling book The Beauty of Living Twice.
The 65-year-old blonde bombshell was dressed in a pink Barbie blazer as she sat down The Lady Gang Podcast to talk about the person who could fill the diva’s stilettos.
Stone said Margot Robbie, 33, was the perfect star.
“I love Margot Robbie, so probably her,” said the casino actress. “She’s so talented. After I saw her play Tonya Harding, I thought it was you.”
The former Playboy cover girl also agreed that Robbie was ‘the best’ as she chatted to the two female presenters.

Robbie is currently at the peak of her career after starring in this year’s summer blockbuster Barbie, which has earned $1.4 billion at the worldwide box office to date.
The film, about Barbie and Ken having the time of their lives in the colorful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land, not only showed Margot’s beauty, but also her ability to switch between perfect and imperfect in an instant.
Stone has had quite a life.
In her 2021 book The Beauty Of Living Twice, she revealed some harsh truth bombs, such as how her father beat her and how she faced sexual assault.
The Sliver star also suffered a massive stroke that cost her not only her health, but also her career, family and fortune.

The former model fought her way back to find not only her truth, but also reconciliation and love from her family.
This comes after Stone said making Basic Instinct was a “scary journey.”

The actress played murderous Catherine Tramell opposite Michael Douglas as a detective investigating her crimes in the 1992 erotic thriller – which featured her infamous flashing crosses scene – and Sharon says the role forced her to expose some ‘dark parts’ of herself eyes to see.
She told People, “I have to confront my whole self, and that’s a scary journey.
“But once you do it, you walk away with a tremendous amount of self-confidence because you’ve had to look at all of yourself, parts of yourself that you never have to dig deep into and look at, scary parts, dark parts, concerning parts .
“And once you do that, you gain quite a bit of self-confidence because you’ve really looked into the mirror darkly.”
Sharon went on to emphasize that she is happy that the genre of 1990s-style erotic thrillers seems to be making a comeback, adding: “I think people like that. It’s fun and exciting and they’re sexy. I mean, what’s wrong with that?’
The actress previously admitted that the film completely changed her life over the course of a weekend after its release in 1992 and that she ultimately found herself in a sticky situation when she was spotted in Los Angeles days after the film opened.

During an appearance on CNN, she explained, “I didn’t know [that scene] would change the dynamics of my life forever…
“I didn’t know that on Friday when that movie came out, I would basically be nobody and that on Tuesday I would go pick up my glasses at Sunset Plaza and I would come out and my little 325 BMW and I would stop at the light and everyone would climb over my car. “And the lights would turn green and cars would start beeping and I wouldn’t know if it’s legal to drive with people all over your car?”
When asked if her story was true, Sharon admitted she was worried about going to jail if any of the enthusiastic fans got hurt.
She added, “This is real and I’m sitting in my car on Sunset Boulevard and they’re all sitting on the hood and they’re all sitting on the windshield and people are blowing their horns and I think when I’m driving and If they get hurt , will I be arrested?
‘Is it a crime if you are driving and there are people in your car? And I sit inside and think: Am I driving? Not driving? What’s the law on people all over your car?…’
Sharon concluded by warning fans: “Don’t get in my car because I don’t know what to do.”
