I gave my bathroom a makeover on a budget with purchases from Amazon, Shein & Temu
A WOMAN has revealed she gave her bathroom a total transformation while on a budget.
DIY enthusiast and single mother Laura Hilton, who lives in Glasgow, explained that to keep costs down, she used bargain purchases from Amazon, Shein and Temu to give her space a fresh, new look.

Delighted with her bathroom renovation, Laura took to social media to show off her transformation, leaving many open-mouthed.
Post on DIY on a budget officera private Facebook group with no less than 2.2 million members, Laura shared a photo of her bathroom after she was at work.
She explained: “I finally finished my bathroom after living in this house for two years.
“[I’m a] single mother [it’s] hard to decorate on a low budget, but finally [I’ve] done.”
She then added: “I still need to buy a few things: mirrors, black toilet seat, etc.
“Decorated in less than three weeks, it now feels so cozy.”
Originally, Laura’s simple bathroom was in desperate need of updating TLC.
As a result, the mother removed the boring white wallpaper because it was not to her taste.
She also gave the room some personality: with new wallpaper and new floors, but also with some trendy accessories.
Laura later explained that she bought her self-adhesive zigzag wallpaper and bathroom curtains from Amazon and her new herringbone floor from Flooring Direct.
She also said that she got her fake garland from Shein and wrapped a pack of lights around it herself, also from Shein.
Not only this, but the single mother bought candlesticks and her bath mat from Temu.

At the time of writing this article, Laura’s post had only been live for three days, but it had clearly made an impression on many as it quickly racked up 1,900 likes and 322 comments.

Social media users were left stunned by Laura’s bathroom makeover, with many taking to the comments to express their views.
One person said: “I love it. Please help me do mine. It is bare and nothing.”
Another said: “It all looks beautiful.”
