Sister Wives’ Christine and Janelle Brown say they are doing “fine” without Robyn

Christine, 51, told exclusively We weekly on Monday, November 20, that she is not in “any relationship” with Robyn, 45, after leaving Kody, 54, in November 2021. “That’s fine with me,” Christine said of the situation. ‘I will remain amiable when we are together. I have kids who have a great relationship with Robyn, and that’s great. Go for it. But no, [I do] not personal [talk to her].”

Janelle, 54, shared a similar take on her lack of friendship with Robyn, telling Us“I’m not going to see her.”

Janelle announced in December 2022 that she and Kody had “been separated for several months” after almost thirty years together. She has since cut ties with Robyn, the only sister wife still married to Kody.

“I love [her] children,” Janelle said of Robyn’s five children. “I really hope that at some point in the future the children can become more reconciled with all their parents. That’s what I hope for. But time will tell, and time will heal, so we’ll see.”

While Meri, 52, only announced her divorce from Kody in January, both Christine and Janelle said they saw it coming years earlier. While Christine and Janelle grew closer after their respective breakups with Kody, their bond with Meri has deteriorated.

‘Personally, I don’t know what she does. I don’t talk to Meri either,” Christine explained Us. “I don’t really have a relationship with Meri. I just know very well what probably [viewers] know.”

Janelle noted that both she and Christine have remained connected to Meri’s only child, Leon, but they don’t cross Meri very often. “I’m so busy with what I’m doing in my life right now, and my life really revolves around the kids and what I do,” Janelle said. “And when we see each other, we are cordial, but we don’t really seek each other out. She doesn’t look for me. I don’t seek her out, but when we meet… it’s friendly.’

Although their friendships with Meri have fallen apart in recent years, the TLC stars are happy that she finally chose her own happiness outside of the family. “I [am] I’m just excited that she’s done,” Christine said. “Hopefully she finds a romantic partner. I know she would like that, so that would be for the best. I wish that for her. Certainly.”

Janelle, meanwhile, called her former sister wife “extremely loyal” and applauded Meri for choosing herself over Kody. “She’s very loyal, and that’s admirable. It is real. And she takes our religious vows seriously, so she’s been in a tough spot for a while, I think,” Janelle shared. Us. “I am now really happy to see that she can really move on.”

When it comes to the end of their plural family, Janelle has some unresolved feelings, but her bond with Christine and their combined twelve children makes it easier to build a new life outside of her marriage.

“I think the saddest part for me was the loss of the ideal we had worked for: this ideal family we worked for. [toward] for decades,” Janelle admitted. “And I think I mourned the loss of that more than the relationship with Kody, because Kody and I really had that [been] living very separately.”

She continued, “I just mourn the loss of this ideal that we worked so hard for, but I realized that we actually still have a lot of it intact.”

Christine told me in the meantime Us she felt [their] The family was split up long before she left. ‘I felt that my departure did not tear the family apart. I felt like it was already broken [after moving to Flagstaff, Arizona]”, she remembers, to which Janelle replied: “It felt very strange at that moment.”
