Sue Radford has given a sneak peek at her family’s elaborate Christmas decorations this year after decorating the halls despite a bout of illness.

The mother-of-22, from Morecambe, Lancashire, adored her Instagram stories to show a glimpse of the lavish look, which included parts of the dining and living room.

Despite explaining that she ‘broke a rib’ after a bout of ‘painful’ coughing, the 48-year-old mum seemed determined to kick off the festive mood in style, even as she admitted she’s ‘never felt so bad felt’.

In the snaps, fans were treated to views of intricately decorated Christmas trees, as well as a shelf packed with countless stockings.

And despite the lavish decor, the reality star insisted she would have had more in store if she hadn’t been feeling bad.

Taking to her page, she wrote: ‘Accurate representation of how my Monday morning went.

‘I’m also pretty sure I’ve broken a rib from all the coughing I’ve been doing over the last three weeks, so that’s quite painful.

And although the disease initially threatened to scupper her festive plans, the mother was grateful that the disease finally started to subside.

“Thankfully my cough is getting much better,” she continued. “It’s been an exhausting three weeks, I’ve never felt so bad.”

Even then, the influencer planned to take it easy while she recovered.

She added: ‘Usually I’m so busy putting up my Christmas decorations, but because I’m feeling so bad we just put up the tree in the dining room.

“We plan to put up the rest of the decorations today, which the kids are really excited about.”

A few hours later, Sue unveiled another set of decorations, before exclaiming: “Christmas has arrived.”

The vlogger customized each of the two Christmas trees to match the color theme of the room.

Starting in the dining room, the medium-sized tree displayed nude and pastel tones, brought to life by gold electric lights.

The theme worked in tandem with the neatly decorated dining area, which had a brown and nude color scheme.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Sue has stepped things up a notch by installing a much larger tree, littered with various trinkets.

From candy canes to plaid bows and enormous baubles, the tree made for quite a spectacle, but it paled in comparison to the mantelpiece.

To the left of the tree was an overflowing shelf full of tinsel, lights and countless stockings.

Perhaps the mother hung 22 stockings, one for each member of the famous family.

After pausing at the display of cuddly toys, Sue picked up a reindeer with a faux fur jacket and asked her mother, who only appears a few times, to guess how much it was.

Sue’s mum – who looked stylish in a yellow jacket and printed scarf – joked: ‘I’m thinking £200!’

As she admired the display in the store, Sue’s mother – whose first name was not shared by the family – said: ‘I think it would look nice with that Christmas tree too.’

Sue turned back to the camera and said: ‘It costs £55.’

Before heading out for lunch, Sue and her teenage daughter Aimee were astounded to hear that a small gingerbread Christmas tree decoration cost a whopping £12.

Sue said:[I was expecting it to be] £4 or £5.’

Elsewhere in the video, Sue’s mother admires an owl cuddly toy, which also catches the attention of her Heidie and her great-granddaughter Ophelia.

As she sat down to eat, Sue filmed her mother enjoying her chilli and coriander soup.

For the relaxing day out with her granddaughters, Sue’s mum opted for a light gray jumper and statement silver necklace – which matched her metallic nail polish perfectly.

The video ends with Sue and her younger children still living at home decorating their first Christmas tree of the year.
