Sydney Sweeney, fiance Jonathan Davino attend ‘SNL’ after party

After Sweeney, 26, hosted the Saturday, March 2, episode SNL, she and Davino, 38, were spotted heading to the cast’s afterparty. The actress stunned in a little black dress with sheer sleeves. Davino also wore all black and walked right behind Sweeney in New York City.
Sweeney’s stint has begun SNL was her first time hosting the variety series, where she shouted out Davino while dispelling rumors about her friendship with Everyone but you Co-star Glen Powell.
“The craziest rumor I’ve seen was while I was shooting Everyone but youI had an affair with my co-star Glen Powell,” she said in her monologue. “That is obviously not true.”

While Sweeney, who co-produced the 2023 romantic comedy, and Powell, 35, filmed the movie in Australia, rumors swirled that they were having an affair despite their public relationships. While Sweeney is engaged to Davino, Powell was dating a model Gigi Paris at the time. They each shut down the speculation several times, long before Sweeney’s SNL play.
“My fiancé and I produced the film together and he was there for the entire shoot,” Sweeney added on Saturday. “I just want to let everyone know that he is the man of my dreams and that we are still together and stronger than ever. He even came here tonight to support me.”
After Sweeney the SNL camera crew to ‘cut’ Davino into the crowd, the shot turned to Powell. The Top Gun: Maverick The actor was seen laughing in the front row and eventually turned his head to look for Davino. After Powell realized the camera was on him, he grimaced.
‘That’s not my fiancée! He’s in my dressing room!” Sweeney exclaimed.

Powell later joined Sweeney in one of hers SNL sketches, in which she played her boss with whom she had an affair. Powell even referred to the Euphoria star as “babycakes” before dumping her boyfriend (Andreas Dismukes) in his advantage.
Come on SNL, they both denied that their friendship turned romantic on the film set. Powell even credited Sweeney with creating the buzz around it Everyone but you.

Sweeney told Glamor Britain later that month that she and Davino are in a “steady relationship” which helped her shake off the rumors.
