But with electricity prices skyrocketing due to the cost of living crisis, it's no surprise that people are trying to come up with genius ways to avoid flipping the expensive switch.

And one savvy shopper rushed online to show off his bargain purchase, which will instantly warm your heart.

But perhaps the best of all? It's currently in the reduced to clear section and costs just £12.50.

The bargain hunter went to the money-saving Facebook group Extreme Coupons and Bargains UK and posted a photo of the 'Status convector heated 2000w' they came across on a recent trip to Tesco.

Deciding not to keep their information secret, they wrote: “Tesco Middlebrook (Horwich), but probably others.

“There are also quite a few other heaters.”

The great value buy has an impressive three heat settings and an adjustable thermostat, so you can create a warm and cozy environment to suit you.

It also features overheat protection for added safety, is portable so it can be easily moved around your home and comes with a handy handle.
