The high school sweethearts earned a whopping $301,523 from the show after their beautiful home went under the hammer for $4,401,523, and they’ve spent the prize money on more renovation work.
The couple took to social media to share the results of a recent budget transformation of Kirsty’s dad’s ‘tiny’ home.

They painted the interior with fresh white paint, bought curtains from Kmart and replaced all the old furniture in the building.
‘We achieved this makeover with just paint and styling! We used the undercoat, ceiling, all walls, doors and trim paint from @easycoatpaints, all in Cotton Sheets, to give this fresh coastal look,” they explained.
‘We also removed the dark carpet and large furniture. We added some linen curtains, new cupboard handles and some fun self-adhesive tiles, all from @kmartaus.
‘The beautiful rugs and lounge are from @b2cfurniture. We wanted something streamlined that could also accommodate our large family when we all come over.

Before appearing on the hit TV show, the couple had a lot of renovation experience under their belts.
According to Popsugar in 2021, they bought and sold a total of six homes that they renovated during their time together.
They even made $60,000 from the sale of their very first house, which they bought together when they were just 18 years old.
