But in the meantime, actress Meg Bellamy has her own Prince Charming to focus on: real-life boyfriend Connor Dutton, who she was spotted with on a day out in London.

As the hype surrounding Netflix’s royal drama continues, Meg, 21, looked low-key in two-tone jeans, a ribbed powder blue turtleneck and matching Nike sneakers.

Connor, an acrobat, was the first to congratulate his “beautifully talented girlfriend” when she got the part.

Meg will make her big screen debut when she appears in the second episode of The Crown’s final season next month.

A complete unknown before winning the role, she submitted a self-taped audition after producers released an open casting call for the role.

The Berkshire-born actress will play Kate during her years at St Andrews University between 2001 and 2005.

Drama Center London graduate Ed McVey plays Prince William.

He also has a true love story: with kickboxing girlfriend Holly Stevens.

McVey and girlfriend Holly have been dating for several months.

On her Instagram page, called ‘Kickbox with Holly’, Ms Stevens advertises herself as a ‘kickboxing and fitness instructor’ offering self-defence classes in Acton, west London.

She is also an aspiring film writer and director, and recently worked on a play called Pimms And Piety at the Etcetera Theater in Camden, North London.

William and Kate, who married at Westminster Abbey in 2011, met while students at St Andrews University.
