The trailer for the upcoming action comedy The Family Plan was released on Monday.

In the clip, 52-year-old Mark Wahlberg portrays a devoted family man who is forced to deal with the consequences of his past as a secret assassin.

The artist, who recently gave his Instagram followers a glimpse into his grueling fitness routine, is also joined by Michelle Monaghan, Said Taghmaoui and Ciaran Hinds.

The trailer opens with Dan Morgan, played by Wahlberg, quietly enjoying suburban life before his world is turned upside down when he is forced to confront a hit man during a visit to a supermarket.

After the incident, Dan contacts his old friend and partner-in-crime Augie and tells him to meet in Las Vegas in three days before telling his wife that “nothing brings the family together like a road trip.”

Filming began in Atlanta last October and the film crew wrapped up after shooting scenes in Las Vegas last February.

The family plan will be released on December 15 on the Apple TV+ streaming service.
