Thorpe Park has unveiled Britain’s ‘tallest and fastest rollercoaster’ in an exciting new point-of-view (POV) video.

Launching in 2024, ‘Hyperia’ will reach a height of 71 meters and reach speeds of more than 130 km/h at full throttle.

The nerve-wracking CGI video reveals the chilling twists – and a huge stomach-churning drop with a top high above the park.

Thorpe Park claims thrill seekers will ‘wander like never before’ and ‘feel weightless’ on board the new attraction.

The Surrey-based resort, which won the award as the best theme park for thrills at this year’s UK Theme Park Awards 2023, says: ‘Once you experience Hyperia, you will never be scared again.’

Hyperia is currently being produced by Mack Rides and construction is said to have begun in January 2023 Theme park tourist.

The ride consists of three inversions, including a diving loop and an ‘Immelman’ – a hill climb followed by a half loop and a half turn.

Once opened, it will dethrone Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s ‘The Big One’ as Britain’s tallest rollercoaster – standing 64 meters high.
