The £16 million masterpiece home is built on a giant cantilevered slab on top the tower in chic retail and office space UB City.

Vijay Mallya, the son of United Breweries Group founder Vittal Mallay, fled India in March 2016 after allegedly failing to repay loans and the investigation hounding him.

The flashy pad was intended to have an array of luxurious amenities, including a wine basement, both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and a helipad.

But since the construction plans were announced in 2010, the house has been shrouded in mystery and Vijay has reportedly never seen it in real life.

The 34-storey building on which the mansion sits atop has 81 homes spread over three blocks.

It was developed as an extension of UB City – a flashy one company district with high-quality commercial and service apartments.

He was granted conditional bail after his arrest in March 2017.

In 2020, his hopes of avoiding extradition were dashed when his final appeal to the Supreme Court was rejected, although he has remained in Britain since.
