Fitness fanatic Sage Christine (@sagechristine0) always keeps it real online.

In a TikTok videoshe called out people praising the “legging legs” trend, which is a common topic online.

It's a beauty standard that has become controversial because it tells TikTok users what their legs should look like in the style.

It forms the ideal 'legging legs' that are long and thin, with a thigh gap.

“If you post that you're happy you have leggings legs you're part of the problem so stop,” she wrote in the video's caption.

She stood in her kitchen preparing a protein shake as she spoke angrily to her audience.

“I swear every morning I open this app, and there's a new reason that we should all be insecure, that we should all not love our bodies,”

She wasn't happy about it at all and drew attention to the 'thigh epidemic' she remembered from when she was 13 years old.

“That literally scarred me,” she said.

She said it was “exactly the same” and that everyone had them because we have legs and wear leggings.

“Boom. We all have legging legs, so just stop,” she said right before.

She interacted with many other viewers in the video's comments section about their shared opinions.

“Ughhh yeah, I hated the leg slit era. Well saiddd,” someone commented.

“Yes, that should remain in the past!!” Sage wrote.

“When I had 'legging legs' I was so incredibly unhealthy,” said another.

“No, really, like we need to stop glorifying it,” Sage replied.

Sage also agreed with a TikTok user's comment that read, “Thank you for speaking out against body insecurity and toxic trends.”
