Tragedy where two young girls die in horror highway accident after car lost control and crashed into tree

Two twin girls have tragically died in a horrific accident after the car they were traveling in crashed into a tree.

The accident happened shortly after 11am on Sunday on the Great Eastern Highway in Carrabin, between Merredin and Southern Cross in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.

WA Police, St John Ambulance and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended the crash site.

Police have launched an investigation into the single-vehicle crash that killed twin girls

“Upon arrival at the scene, it was confirmed that the vehicle was a white Toyota Camry sedan, which had left the road and struck a tree,” the police statement said.

'Tragically, two seven-year-old girls died at the scene.'

The female driver, 31, was taken by ambulance to Merredin Hospital.
