I have a blush dress for the mother of the groom – people are afraid I will put the bride on stage

A FASHION expert has been criticized for her pink reception dress.

Although many were concerned that the dress would outshine the bride, she wasn’t worried about that.

Jill (@girlsourage), a boutique owner, showed off the style she chose for the special occasion.

“For my mothers of the bride and mothers of the groom, I’m back with another try,” she said.

She explained that she had received many requests for a matching wedding dress that was not super form-fitting and had sleeves.

To fulfill the request, she chose a glittery Aidan Mattox piece, worth $165, on the floor.

The blush beaded and sequined cape dress featured a slit at the front and a deep V-neck.

“This has a really nice cape sleeve. It’s champagne underneath and it’s very glittery and sparkly,” she said.

“It has pearls and sequins, it’s just a really beautiful color combination.”

In addition to the neutral color scheme, she also raved about how comfortable the dress was.

She could even wear a good bra under the dress without worrying about anything showing.

While many loved the dress, some worried it would be too flashy.

“This is great, but do you want to mislead the bride about this?” one commenter asked.

Jill immediately dismissed the concern.

“Not a chance,” she said.

“Beautiful! But don’t outshine the bride!” said another.

“Not possible!” Jill replied.

Despite the backlash, many continued to express their concerns.

“I think this competes with the bride. Too much. Although she does look nice,” said one viewer.

“Looks too much like white,” agreed another.
