NOEL Radford has insisted he and his wife Sue are “not millionaires”, despite people’s assumptions.

In one extract, Sue recalls the judgment the couple received from social media users after renting a luxury camper van, which they often use for family trips in Britain.

“When we bought the camper, a lot of people said, ‘You’re just rubbing it in people’s faces,’” she says.

“I’ve wanted a camper for years and we’ve had to work very hard to get into a position where we could afford to buy one, so why can’t we?”

But despite what some may think, Noel points out that the couple are not millionaires.

Later in the book he explains how the couple thought about moving from their 10-bed home in Morecambe, which has been home to the large brood since 2004, while potentially renting out part of their current home.

“We wanted to move because we wanted more space, but we thought, ‘We just can’t bring ourselves to sell the house that has been our family home for so long,’” says Noel.

He adds that in the fall of 2023, they found a new place in the country, a few kilometers away from their family home.

“Before we made the decision to move we did the sums and as we only have a relatively small mortgage on the old property we realized we could afford to keep it,” Noel explains.

However, it wasn’t intentional.

Noel says the plans were close to reality and they had even made long-term plans for the old house, namely to operate it as an Airbnb or rent out part of it.

But he adds, “The guy who sold the house, his house purchase fell through and it all got a bit complicated.”

Sue goes on to note that they will have to see what the future holds, but says they still want to find a new place.

“Ideally, we can keep the house we live in now and buy a second one, where part of the family will move in again,” she explains.

The mother of 22 also recalls all the work the couple have done to the house since they first moved in – including refurbishing the bedrooms and turning the exterior of the house into a ‘proper entertainment complex’ – with the swimming pool and the bar.’
