David Potts was crowned the 2024 winner of Celebrity Big Brother during Friday night’s highly anticipated grand final.
The Ibiza Weekender star, 30, narrowly beat Nikita Kuzmin, 26, to the Celebrity Big Brother crown when he came second, with Colson Smith in third, Louis Walsh in fourth and Fern Britton in fifth.
David was left overwhelmed as hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best announced his name.
After Nikita left the house, David said to himself, “I feel shocked and on top of the world.” I can not believe it. I’m feeling defeated, get me on that runway’
David was cheered by the crowd as he energetically left the iconic house. He then told AJ and Will ‘Slay! I really didn’t expect this at all, thank you very much’

During his first interview on Late & Live, David spoke about Sharon Osbourne putting him in the ‘danger zone’ on the first night: ‘That didn’t surprise me, I’m often pre-judged based on first impressions.’
Discussing his friendships at home, David said: ‘I like people, especially people who have the same energy as me, like Bradley for example, I’m attracted to them. “Bradley and I have the same sense of humor, he’s just a great guy.
“I’ve never really been one of the guys, but when I got really close to Nikita and Colson, I thought, ‘I’m not one of the guys.’ I love it, I’m so versatile these days.”
When Bradley was surprised on Thursday’s show, David added: ‘I was devo, I really thought he would be in the final. I thought everyone would love him as much as I do.”
After almost three weeks full of nominations, tears and drama, the iconic reality show has come to an end and the last group of housemates say goodbye to the house for good.
To celebrate their last night as a group, Big Brother hosted a fancy dinner in the living room.
Scenes during the Friday show saw the housemates sit around the table one last time and reflect on their experiences.
David thanked Big Brother and his housemates for letting him be himself.
The Ibiza Weekender, 30, said: ‘I really didn’t think I would be in a house with twelve people that I actually really like.
‘Thank you for letting me be myself, I love you all. ‘
Nikita admitted that he didn’t expect the people in the house to be so nice and is happy that people like him for who he is.
The professional dancer, 26, said: ‘I didn’t expect to meet such nice people.
“I said to myself, one thing is that I will just be Nikita, like my mother would be proud of me, and it’s very reassuring that people just liked me for me.”
Music manager Louis, 71, added: ‘So here we are, the fantastic five… I came in not knowing what to expect but wow, it’s been a learning experience for me.

“You’ve been great to me, I appreciate that. As far as I’m concerned, we’re all winners.’
Coronation Street star Colson, 25, known for his role on the cobbles as Craig Tinker, said: ‘…the experience is nothing without the people and the housemates.
‘This experience has taught me to support myself, be kind to myself, be confident and be myself…’
TV presenter Fern, 66, joked: ‘The most gracious, talented men I have ever known, and I want to thank you for the kindness you have shown me as the last woman standing.
“So all we can say is: may the best man win.”
The housemates spent the rest of the evening dancing and singing before breaking away to think in the diary room.
Louis told Big Brother: ‘We had the time of our lives in the Big Brother house… I was a bit crazy, a bit funny and had an opinion about everyone. I will never forget it.’
Reflecting on her time in the house, Fern said: ‘I wanted to come and have a television adventure and I had it… It got me excited about television again… it was just a memory of a familiar place, and probably how much have I missed.’
David commented, “It’s been a crazy ride, but don’t forget… Big Brother… killing. Death every day.’

While Sharon Osbourne also left the house after serving as the first tenant of Celebrity Big Brother for eight days.
Celebrity Big Brother launched earlier this month and attracted its biggest audience in more than a decade with 3.8 million viewers across devices, becoming ITV’s biggest programming title for 16-34 year olds in March.
Celebrity Big Brother has been streamed more than 14 million times on ITVX to date and Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live has remained the top performing title for ITV2 every night.
