In one of the latest incidents, we came across the Republic Day sale of renowned online shopping portal Flipkart, where a man bought an expensive laptop worth Rs 1.13 lakh, only to find that Flipkart instead gave him “a old, discarded laptop” had sent.

The man identified as Souro Mukherjee (Gutenberg) @souro9737 on social media platform Flipkart and I have received some old discarded laptop. Never trust products ordered through online platforms. @flipkartsupport @Flipkart #flipkartscam”.

The irony is that while unpacking the package, Souro Mukherjee (Gutenberg) is talking to the delivery person and inquiring about the precautions taken by the company and the delivery people to handle the goods so that they do not get damaged. In addition to the chatter, Souro captures the moments on camera.

He can be heard expressing his hurt feelings, albeit in a low tone, as he says, “yeh to bahut hi ganda sa kuch alag hi laptop hai yeh (this is a totally different laptop of low quality)”.

Give him a break because he sounds very excited from delivery to unboxing as he probably expected the best deal from his dreams, which fell apart when the actual product was shown and the reality dawned on him.

In their response, Flipkart FlipkartSupport @flipkartsupport posted: “Please do not share your order specific details or personal details on this social platform as they are visible to everyone. Please feel free to contact us via DM to ensure your data is safe. (2/3) To guarantee your privacy, we request that you delete your order details from this social platform.”

Now, incidents like this do make noise, but we leave it to the discretion and discretion of the buyers and fully believe that the other party also deserves to put their case forward.
