Linda Evangelista has revealed she is ‘not interested’ in dating again.

The 58-year-old supermodel, who has been married once before, admitted she “didn’t want to sleep with anyone anymore” in a candid new interview with The Sunday times.

The fashion industry star, who recently opened up about the drastic starvation diets she went on in her younger years, also joked: “I don’t want to hear anyone breathing.”

Evangelista then stated that her last real relationship ended “definitely before the Cool-Sculpting,” which she underwent from 2015 to 2016.

The model has since spoken out against the procedure, which has seriously affected her physique and her self-confidence in recent years.

She also talked about her marriage to Gerald Marie, which began in 1987.

The couple, who were separated by a fifteen-year age difference, remained together until 1993, when they formally dissolved their union.

Evangelista provided some insight into her relationship with the former businessman, who has since been accused of sexual misconduct by several people.

‘I had no idea. Absolutely no idea…there had to be something endearing to fall for,” she said.

The model also accused her former husband of physically abusing her during the Apple TV+ miniseries The Super Models, which premiered last September.

She later got engaged to Kyle MacLachlan in 1995, and they went their separate ways three years later.

Evangelista was in a relationship with former professional footballer Fabien Barthez until 2002, and although the couple planned to start a family in 1999, the model tragically suffered a miscarriage.

The model later gave birth to a son named Augustin, 17, and shares her child with Francois-Henri Pinault, whom she dated for four months from 2005 to 2006.

Evangelista also gained a lot of attention for showing off her baby bump on the cover of Vogue’s August 2006 issue.

The fashion industry figure sued her ex-partner for child support in 2011, and the pair reached an out-of-court settlement the following year.

Pinault later moved on to Salma Hayek, and the couple married in 2009.

Evangelista revealed that she has since ‘worked out’ the issues in her relationship with her ex-partner and his wife.

In the interview with The Sunday Times, Evangelista also discussed how she didn’t start exercising until she was 30 because her “crazy” metabolism kept her catwalk ready.

The 58-year-old Canadian model started her career when she was 19 after signing with Elite Model Management and moving to New York City for work.

Linda then moved to Paris as her star began to shine, but soon found herself struggling to maintain her weight due to her fast, calorie-burning metabolism.

Speaking to Ruth Rogers on her podcast ‘Ruthie’s Table 4’, the model opened up about her diet issues to the owner of The River Cafe restaurant.

She said, “I used to be able to eat anything.”

Ruth then asked what kind of metabolism she had, to which Linda replied, “Crazy, crazy.”

Linda continued, “I think it started to slow down in my 30s. I started training when I was 27, 28, because I thought, ‘Oh, things are a little different.’

“And back then, if you ate too much too much for too long, if you cut back on everything for three days, you lost five pounds.

“Now it’s very easy to gain five pounds in a weekend.”

Linda emphasized that she was shocked to discover her metabolism suddenly changed as she got older, and revealed what nutritional strategies she would use to stay in shape.

She said: ‘I had to work on keeping the weight off. And then there came a period where I really had to look and I started using cleansers all the time, and I loved doing these cleansers, but I think they were very harmful to me.

‘I like medicated cleansers that are like a powdered drink, or I go to We Care for a week once or twice a year [Palm Springs].

“You just do liquids, it’s usually water with lemon and mint and tea and you get a glass of juice a day, and you get a very diluted, watered down vegetable called a soup once a day.”

Linda then revealed that she now allows herself to eat whatever she wants, as long as it’s ‘the best’ quality and doesn’t affect her weight.

She said: ‘When I eat pasta it’s an indulgence for me because I’m trying to watch my weight and be healthy. I always have. If I eat pasta, it has to be great.

“If I’m going to eat a steak, I mean I’m going to eat anything, it can’t be a crappy steak. It has to be the best steak.”
