Bella Thorne reveals fiance Mark Emms bought her five engagement rings before settling for an emerald-cut diamond weighing more than 10 carats

Bella Thorne has revealed that her fiancé Mark Emms bought her five engagement rings before she got her favorite.

The actress, who got engaged in May this year, said her husband-to-be ‘saw her face’ after popping the question and discovering it wasn’t ‘the one’.

Bella admitted she “didn’t see anything wrong” with the first ring, but the entrepreneur insisted she find the perfect style.

Speak with The messenger the Blended star said, “He gave me a ring that was so beautiful, and I didn’t see anything that was wrong. We then went through four rings. This is my fifth.’

She continued, “He saw my face when I saw the first one, and he said, ‘Yeah, let’s go get you another ring.’ And I thought, “What, why?” And he said, “Well, I can just feel like something’s not right there.”

‘I thought, “What are you talking about, the ring is beautiful! Don’t be silly.” He said, “No, I just know you, and I saw your face, and something was wrong. So let’s just get another one.” And then he literally went and got four other rings, and it was so ridiculous.”

The former Disney star said she “wore each ring for two weeks to try it out” because Mark “wanted it to be perfect.”

She added: “He said, ‘I want it to be perfect. So it has to be something that you absolutely know is you,’ and so after trial and error, it ended up being this ring.”

The Midnight Sun actress ultimately opted for an emerald cut diamond engagement ring weighing more than 10 carats.

Bella then discussed her vision for the couple’s “fairytale” wedding in Britain, where Mark is originally from, saying she would love to be surrounded by “huge trees and lots of twinkling lights.”

The couple got engaged in May, a year after meeting on the beach in Ibiza at Cara Delevigne’s birthday party.

Mark, who also owns New York City hotspot The Mulberry, popped the questions at Bella’s home in California on Mother’s Day.

It comes after Bella shared a slew of adorable snaps and clips to her Instagram stories last month as the couple celebrated their one-year anniversary.

“It was love at first sight when the sun came up,” Bella told Vogue Weddings.

The Divinity star told the publication that she would like to get married at a country house in Britain, but has not yet announced a wedding date.

“Every bride doesn’t need one dress,” she said, referring to multiple wardrobe changes, “but four!”

Previously, Bella was engaged to ex-boyfriend and B3N frontman Benjamin Mascolo in 2021, but called off their relationship in June 2022.
