Bruised tourist posts hurt after she was raped by seven men in India in front of her husband in the couple’s tent
A SPANISH influencer was allegedly raped by seven thugs during a cycling trip through India in the presence of her partner.
Fernanda and Vincente posted pained videos online of themselves covered in bruises as they talked about the two-hour gruesome attack.
Spanish-Brazilian Fernanda, 31, and partner Vincente, in her 60s, have published a harrowing account of the brutal attack online.
Choking back tears and covered in dark bruises, Fernanda told her followers: “We are in a hospital in India. The police are there too.”
On their way to Nepal on Friday, the couple pitched their tent in a dark forest camp in the tourist hotspot Dumka in the eastern state of Jharkhand.
But once they fell asleep, a gang of men reportedly stormed their tent.
“They held a knife to my neck and threatened to kill me,” Vincente said in the video.
‘They raped Fernanda. Seven men. Those sons of b****s.”
He added that his mouth was “destroyed” after they hit him with his helmet.
The motorcycle couple, who have more than 250,000 followers, set off on a unique journey five years ago to travel around the world on motorcycles.
So far they have visited 66 countries and cycled 170,000 km.
The pair also said their attackers beat them up and stole 10,000 rupees (£96) in cash and a ring.
Local police immediately launched an investigation and three men – reportedly aged between 20 and 30 – have been arrested in connection with the incident so far.
Police are still searching for four others accused of taking part in the attack.
On Sunday, authorities announced that one of the arrested suspects had already confessed crime and provided important information about the fugitives.
Police found the couple seriously injured on the side of the road around 11 p.m., said Dumka Superintendent of Police Pitamber Singh Kherwar.
“The investigation started as soon as we received the information. We spoke to the victim.
‘We arrested a number of people and during interrogation they admitted their involvement.
‘The defendants also took several other names. We have formed a team and raids are being conducted to nab the other accused.”
In an interview with Spanish TV channel Antena 3 on Saturday, Fernanda shared further details about the horror attack.
“They raped me, taking turns while some watched, and they stayed like that for about two hours.”
The attack has sparked outrage across India as activists have called for an end to violence against women.
The country has a poor record on women’s safety, with more than 31,000 rapes reported in 2022.
