Carol Vorderman looked sensational as she arrived at the ITV Palooza at the Theater Royal Drury Lane in London on Tuesday.

The broadcaster, 62, wore a red leather dress that perfectly accentuated her hourglass figure.

She wore a white semi-sheer lightweight coat over it that was covered in silver sequins.

The star opted for a pair of open-toed heels to add a few inches to her frame and posed confidently with her hand on her hip on the blue carpet.

Carol looked in good spirits as she stepped out after being suspended by BBC Radio Wales for breaching the broadcaster’s new social media guidelines.

The star, who has worked at the station for five years, said she was “unwilling to stop” voicing her “strong beliefs” on Twitter and Instagram.

Carol shared a statement earlier this month confirming she had left the station, saying she was unwilling to give up expressing her views on the British government online.

In her statement, Carol said: ‘The BBC has recently introduced new social media guidelines, which I respect.

“Since those non-negotiable changes were made to my radio contract, I have ultimately discovered that I am not willing to lose my voice on social media, change who I am, or lose the ability to express the strong beliefs I hold about the to express on the radio. the political turmoil in which this country finds itself.

“My decision has been to continue to criticize the current British government for what it has done to the country I love – and I am not prepared to stop.

“I was raised to fight for what I believe in, and I will continue to do so.

‘As a result, I have now breached the new guidelines and BBC Wales management has decided that I must leave. We all have to make our decisions.

‘I’m sad to leave the wonderful friends I made at Radio Wales.

‘I wish them, and all our listeners, all the love in the world. We laughed a lot and we will miss each other very much.

“But for now, another interesting chapter begins.”

The BBC said: ‘Carol has been a presenter on BBC Radio Wales since 2018. We would like to thank her for her work and contribution to the channel over the past five years.’

In addition to her weekly show on BBC Radio Wales, Carol also presented the current news quiz Have I Got News For You on BBC1 in May this year.

Carol was accused of ‘blatantly breaching’ the BBC’s impartiality rules with her anti-Tory outbursts, including calling ministers ‘a lying bunch of greedy, corrupt, destructive, hateful, divisive, crooks’.

Of particular note is her long-running feud with veterans minister Johnny Mercer and his wife Felicity, who celebrated it today by tweeting: ‘Binned by the BBC’.

The BBC introduced new social media rules for its presenters following outrage earlier this year over Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker’s tweet comparing the government’s Rwanda policy to Nazi Germany.

These prevent high-profile stars from attacking political parties and individual politicians and from addressing controversial issues before elections or referenda. The rules apply when their show airs and within a two-week period before and after.

The ITV Palooza sees the network’s best and brightest stars coming together to unveil the upcoming slate of shows to advertisers.

This year the event has moved to the iconic Theater Royal Drury Lane, with ITV favorites including Alison Hammond, Rochelle Humes and AJ Odudu in attendance.

Just days after the Big Brother final, AJ will take to the stage alongside Tom Allen as co-hosts of the event.

Last year’s showcase featured big names including Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Frankie Bridge and Laura Whitmore.

The event also saw the unveiling of the ITVX streaming service, packed with thousands of hours of exclusive content, films and live streams.

Programs including Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef, I’m A Celebrity South Africa and Stephen Fry’s A Year On Planet Earth were also unveiled on the evening.

Kelly Williams and Simon Daglish shared a series of exciting announcements with advertisers to help them benefit from increased investment in content.

The star-studded event comes after another fantastic year for ITV, with two series of Love Island, the return of Big Brother and Britain’s Got Talent to the screens.

With the arrival of ITVX, the channel has also massively expanded its collection of true crime documentaries, with a slew of programs being released exclusively on the platform before hitting screens later this year.
