CREME Egg superfan Zara Winstanley eats 50 every month – and says “no amount is enough”.
She said her oval excess started in 2021, when she returned from two years of work Australia — where they are not sold.
Zara28, said: “I have been in love with Creme Eggs for as long as I can remember.
‘I worked at McDonald’s in college and would secretly eat some of the fondant sauce that would go into McFlurrys.
“I would say I have easily eaten one every day this year and often I have eaten several.
“I also ate the Domino’s Creme Egg Biscuits, the Creme Egg Chocolate Bars and small balls.
“I bought quite a few Creme Egg Easter eggs that hold two eggs at a time.”
The Manchester-based social media and digital PR manager estimates she has mocked around 100 so far this year and spent around £70.
And she stocks them up to get through the gloomy summer months if they haven’t been sold.
Zara said: “It’s terrible that they’re not available all year round.”
Creme Eggs have remained a favorite among chocolate lovers since they were first launched in 1963, before being rebranded by Cadbury in 1971.
