Horror moment diners ‘vomit blood’ after being ‘served dry ice as mouth freshener in restaurant’
DISGUSTING diners vomited blood afterwards a hotel restaurant reportedly served them dry ice as a mouth freshener.
A group of five dinners fell ill at La Forestta Cafe, Gurugram city, Indiaafter consuming a pack of mouth freshener to which a solid form of carbon dioxide had been added.

A video of the incident is circulating social media – in which the customers scream in pain.
You see the group holding their tongues and screaming in pain.
One woman resorted to putting ice in her mouth, while others drank water in an attempt to cool the burning sensation.
It had to be all five hospitalized after they started vomiting and their mouths started bleeding.
According to local media, two of them are now in critical condition.
Local resident Ankit Kumar, who had dinner with his wife and some friends, made the Police report.
He said they were lucky not to have consumed the packet, adding that he showed it to a doctor instead.
He revealed: “I showed the packet of mouth freshener to a doctor who said it was dry ice.
“According to the doctor, it is an acid that can lead to death.”
Gurugam police arrested the restaurant manager on Tuesday on charges of poisoning with “intent to cause pain or damage”.
The search is also on for the missing owner of the hotel’s restaurant.
The local police have announced that they will conduct a thorough analysis of the contents of the mouth freshener.
The case is currently ongoing.
The news comes next three people died and seven people were reported seriously ill after suffering carbon dioxide poisoning.
The victims suffered after a huge load of dry ice was thrown into the water to create a spectacular ‘steam show’ effect.
It was intended to surprise partygoers by producing huge clouds of smoke.
But guests immediately suffered severe breathing problems and fainting, and some reportedly suffered chemical burns.
And in 2018, the wife and mother of an ice cream vendor were found unconscious in a car in Washington state. US – apparently due to the vapor from four dry ice coolers.
