How to Read Sarah J. Maas' Books in Order: 'ACOTAR' and More

Sarah J. Maas has been the queen of romance for almost a decade now, but the rise of BookTok has only made her more popular – and now it seems everyone is ready to join the author in the Fae realm.

Maas started writing her debut novel, Throne of glass, when she was a teenager, and she has since expanded it into an eight-book series. Her second series, A Garden of Thorns and Roses, debuted in 2015, launched a thousand Tumblr accounts and made Maas a household name among romance and fantasy fans. 'Crescent City'

Maas' latest series tells the story of half-Fae, half-human Bryce Quinlan, who seeks revenge for the death of her best friend. Maas dropped her first Half Moon City novel in 2020 and has since released two sequels.

While it is not necessary to read A Garden of Thorns and Roses First, Maas and her publishers have said it might be “more rewarding” to address it ACOTAR for Half Moon City. The reading order is below:
