Jennifer Garner models a plaid jacket over sportswear… after revealing the hilarious advice her daughters gave while filming Family Switch

Jennifer Garner proved she can look great in any ensemble when she stepped out in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 51-year-old actress, who recently dazzled at the premiere of Family Switch, looked sporty in a comfortable outfit as she was spotted taking a morning walk with a friend.

Wearing a navy blue and tan plaid flannel jacket over a simple gray T-shirt, the mother of three turned the sidewalks of Brentwood into a personal catwalk.

For the outing, she slipped her white gym socks over her black leggings as she paired the understated style with a set of white sneakers and designer sunglasses.

The early morning outing comes after the Golden Globe winner revealed she turned to her two daughters, whom she shares with ex Ben Affleck — Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 13 — for some advice while filming her new movie Family Switch.

In the over-the-top comedy, all the members of the household wake up one day to discover that they have swapped bodies.

“You turn up the volume so much because it’s all so exaggerated,” Jennifer said People. “But yeah, I definitely went into my teenage years and asked a lot of questions.”

Violet and Seraphina had the typical teenage image of their mother’s enthusiasm, as Jennifer fondly recounted, “They all said, ‘Mom, you’re crazy.’

She added, “My kids are funny and smart, and they work really hard. And their teenage antics are next level, so I’m fine.”

Jennifer also shares 11-year-old son Samuel with Ben.

The actress recently opened up about being a working mother and how she deals with the “guilt” that comes with it.

“Working moms are getting so bad… we all panic because we’re constantly being told ‘you have 18 summers’, ‘you have so much time’, ‘time is fleeting’ and it makes you panic,” she revealed to Access to Hollywood.

“So if you come from a place of expansiveness instead of feeling like, “I can’t be a mom because I work too, and I should be guilty all the time,” you might as well just lean into something You you are exactly the same every day as you are now. Just be here when your kids show up, be there and we’ll have a great time.”

Jennifer said her positive outlook came from her own mother, Patricia Ann Garner.

‘My mother always said to me, ‘You are their mother forever, don’t worry, you can do your job. You are their mother forever.

‘I wish I had worked, I would have been a better mother. Your kids will be so proud of you,” Jennifer explained.

With such a stable foundation, Jennifer has been able to be a co-parenting champion with her famous ex.
