Lewis Hamilton once again shows off his quirky sense of style in orange and brown tie-dye all-in-one ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton continued to show his quirky sense of style as he headed into qualifying of the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit on Saturday.

The British world champion cut a stylish figure in a striking orange and brown tie-dye all-in-one outfit.

The 38-year-old Formula 1 star kept his head down as he looked focused ahead of Sunday’s season-ending race.

The outfit remained comfortable and looked loose-fitting as the pants sat loosely around the athlete’s legs.

To complete the look, Lewis opted for a pair of brown leather combat boots, while shielding his eyes behind a pair of chunky black shades.

He tied his dark and gold braids into a ponytail and completed the look with his signature chunky silver chain.

Lewis’ impressive array of tattoos were proudly on display as he showed off his toned arms.

Still, it was a failed day for the driver after he failed to reach Q3, meaning the Briton will start 11th for Sunday’s race.

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen will start the season finale on pole position after a scintillating qualifying performance.

The world champion – who secured his twelfth pole of the season – is joined on the front row by Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc.

It comes after Lewis was spotted trackside on Thursday when a fan desperately tried to take a selfie with him.

The F1 sensation cut a powerful figure in an electric blue button-down shirt with shoulder lapels and no sleeves.

He paired the eccentric top, which showed off his intricate tattooed sleeves and muscular arms, with matching oversized trousers.

To up the glamor even further, the sportsman completed his look with a pair of Burberry Leather Trek Boots, worth over £1,000, and a pair of BOTTEGA VENETA women’s sunglasses costing £470.

The fan, who was wearing a VIP lanyard, was captured wearing a white T-shirt and jeans as she briefly bent over.

It comes just days after Lewis was at the center of a storm of transfer rumours.

The star denied he was looking for a mouth-watering move to Red Bull but claimed the world championship-winning team approached him.

The seven-time world champion responded to Mail Sport’s revelation in which Red Bull team boss Christian Horner claimed that someone close to Hamilton had contacted him to inquire if a seat was available.

That was earlier in the year when Hamilton’s contract negotiations with Mercedes dragged on. The 38-year-old has since signed a new contract to keep him at the Silver Arrows until the end of 2025 on a £50million-a-year deal.

Speaking in the paddock ahead of Sunday’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Lewis said: ‘Christian sent me a message.

‘I would really like to race against Max (Verstappen) in the same car. That would be great. But I don’t think he wants me to be his teammate.’

When asked if he had approached Red Bull, Hamilton said: ‘No. I do not have.

“I checked with everyone on my team and no one has spoken to them, but they have tried to contact us.”

When asked if he thought it was strange that Horner mentioned his name this week, the Briton replied: ‘Not really. If you think about it, there are a lot of people here who like to mention my name in conversations because they know it will cause a stir…

‘And if you’re a bit lonely and don’t get much attention, that’s perfect: just say my name.

‘He gets things moving.

‘I told Toto (about the alleged contact). I have so much respect for him and we have a great relationship. When people think things like that (about leaving), it’s never positive.

‘I answered him (Horner) on my new phone. It was months later. I just said congratulations on the great season and that I hope we can compete with you soon, and he replied and repeated the same thing (presumably about catching up).

‘Just getting into the best car wouldn’t do much for me. Working with my team to beat them would be better for my legacy.”

That first part of that statement may technically be true, but it is believed that it was Hamilton’s father Anthony, and not a paid member of his staff, who contacted Horner.

The plot becomes even more complicated, with Hamilton claiming, “I picked up my old phone that I just found at home. It has my old number on it. I turned it on and hundreds of messages came in, including one from Christian, to get together and catch up at the end of the season.”

Why Horner would want to speak to Hamilton at the end of the campaign is unclear, to say the least.

Asked whether Horner had specifically suggested the idea of ​​driving for them, Hamilton said: “He just said he was going to play catch-up.”
