Millie Bobby Brown owns ‘9 dogs’ and has ’23’ more
Millie Bobby Brown Can’t get enough puppy love.
Brown, 20, opened up about her fur babies when she appeared on a Thursday, March 7 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. “Right now I have nine dogs,” she told 49-year-old Barrymore. “I rescue a lot of dogs. I am currently adopting 23 dogs. It’s so much fun!”
Brown said one of her dogs is “17 years old” and was “dumped on the street” before she adopted him. Barrymore praised Brown while asking if her pets had pushed her to leave her childhood home.
“Yes, I live next door to my parents,” Brown confirmed. “I lived with them and when I turned 18 I thought, ‘I want another dog. Can I get another dog?’ And they said, ‘No, you can’t fit any more dogs in your room. So you’ll have to think of something.’ But I want a bunny and I want farm animals, so I moved,” she explained, joking that her parents still do her laundry.
Brown is no stranger to sharing adorable photos of her pets via social media.
In December 2023, she celebrated her dog Winnie’s birthday by posting a number of snaps of them together. In one photo, she pressed her face against the pet’s head. She also cradled her on her lap and shared photos of them cuddling together. “Happy third birthday best friend. I love you endlessly. You will never know what you did for my soul 🐶,” she wrote the mail.
Last month she encouraged fans to adopt a dog post photos of rescue animals in need of a home. “Happy Valentine’s Day! adopt a puppy from joeysfriends! ❤️,” she wrote, tagging the animal shelter.
In addition to dogs, Brown has also shown photos of herself playing with cats, sheep, pigs, horses and more.
