Ring unveils new video doorbell with 'advanced' upgrade to catch everyone outside
RING has unveiled a brand new video doorbell that detects intruders even better.
The company's latest device, the all-new Ring Battery Doorbell Pro, sends motion alerts that are “more accurate” than previous models.

It uses advanced radar-based 3D motion detection to power features such as Bird's Eye Zones and Bird's Eye View.
This provides an aerial perspective to pinpoint and send an alert only when the Ring doorbell detects motion in that exact location, providing more specific information for individual motion events.
Ring says the Battery Doorbell Pro's camera offers “ultimate image quality” with its 1536p HD+ lens.
And thanks to the Low-Light Sight feature, illumination from a street lamp or landscape light is all the device needs to show you bright colors, even in the dark.
It also includes all the usual Ring features you saw on the previous kit, like Alexa integration.
And the premium tools such as package alerts and person alerts remain a paid privilege.
How does it fit with other Ring doorbells?
The Ring Battery Doorbell Pro serves as an upgrade from Ring's previous model, the Battery Video Doorbell Plus.
The video quality remains the same at 1536p HD.
The design also looks pretty much the same.
Ring says advanced and enhanced features include radar-based 3D motion detection with Bird's Eye View and Bird's Eye Zones.
Low Light Sight, Color Pre-Roll, dual-band Wi-Fi and noise-canceling Audio+ are also new.
The cost is different too, around £40/$50.
Rings Battery Doorbell Pro costs £199.99 / $229.99.
It will be released on March 20 in the UK and March 6 in the US.
