I found a Walmart dupe for a $300 Pottery Barn planter for a fraction of the price
AN interior designer has shared an affordable Walmart dupe for a $300 Pottery Barn planter.
She was impressed with the large size and quality of the dupe, for just a fraction of the price.
Kaycie (@greybirchdesigns) shared the brunt of gardening in a TikTok video.
“Here’s the dupe I found this weekend,” she said, showing off the large, off-white planter from Better Homes & Gardens.
“This is such a great dupe of the $300 fluted planter, but for a fraction of the price!
Instead of breaking the bank Pottery Barn’s versionHowever, she managed to get the dupe for a bargain.
“This size for the Pottery Barn is $300, which is crazy, this one is much less.”
Even though the dupe was made of a different material than Pottery Barn’s Terracotta, she thought it was a plus.
“The difference, however, is clearly that this is plastic, which, as I said before, I honestly prefer.
“I’m so impressed with the format and how similar it is.”
The intricate details of the planter dupe also made it worth it.
“This looks like it has a little bit more of a gray tint to it, but it’s really beautiful. It almost looks like stone, but it’s plastic,” she said.
“I worked at Pottery Barn and this one is better than the real thing,” said one commenter.
“The other one breaks off so easily and is hard to wear.”
One viewer suggested a way to pass off the dupe as real.
“Krylon makes spray paint for plastic if a different color is desired!” they said.
While the dupe is sold out at Walmart, the retailer has other planters from Better Homes & Gardens.
